I'd live to see an illustration showing what each style had, the ANH ones are pretty well documented but ROTJ and R1 seem to be definite lacking or are hidden in among multiple threads.

Very very true.

If anyone has photos of just the jumpsuit of RotJ , R1, and etc. i can create a vector image. I think with the french base drawing. I could add demensions on the pockets.

I hope RLSC can help us with providing feedback and clear photos.

I think just to clarify things. I need the jumpsuit. No vest, hoses, or other pilot stuff. I just need a clear image of the jumpsuit.

Please look at previous posts to get a better idea.

I know it sounds boring, but it will be worth it in the end.

^_^

Danke...

I need to see if the jumpsuits in question are given the "ok" by RLSC. I would hate to start a project, only to be told the jumpsuits arent valid.

Thank you for all the suggestions.

If any pilot has a jumpsuit that is ok by brass and wouldn't might posting ONLY the jumpsuit. I would be most grateful.

Greetings pilots,

I am still looking for ONLY flightsuits of a, b, y wing fighters.

I appreciate the photos. Unfortunately i can not draw with accessories blocking the flightsuits.

I am sorry if i sound like a broken record (or skipping cd). The flightsuits are easier to trace using a vector program (illustrator).

Thank you all for your photos.

I created this by taking an auction house photograph of the Gary Kurtz collection screen used Luke costume and tracing the major seam lines.

As a Pilot judge for 5 years, I wanted to address some of the most common errors that caused a submission to be rejected:

1. Arm pockets do not ever extend over or past the elbows.
2. Leg pockets are above and below the knees, not over the kneecaps.
3. Shoulder seams are on the shoulders, not halfway down the upper arm.
4. Please, please get a suit that fits!

Far too many submissions had a suit that was several sizes too big for the wearer. This places the shoulders down the arm, putting the pockets down over the elbows. Then the cuffs are pushed up above the wrist, creating the "Lost In Space Robot Arm"" effect. With too big a suit, the legs are too long, and that moves the upper leg pockets down over the knees.

That is why we need uniformed illustrated standards. I really do not know if the judges are aware of this problem. I cant read mountains of text. I am a VISUAL learner. It is better if i see a picture of the jump suit. I have an illustrated version on the first page of this post.

A seemstress i was working with didn't wait until the new standards were in place. I asked them to wait. Unfortunately, They created a jumpsuit with x-wing instead of the a-wing guidelines. I dont know if the jumpsuit could be salvaged or i would need to buy new fabric, which i got 5 yrs ago.

Any kind of update would be highly benefical to pilots.

Hi

Is it possible if you could have a jumpsuit draft without the red lines. It is distracting and confuses the viewer.

we take into account that the pockets are well positioned
