Myself and Leroni were talking on FB about the preferred way KJO wishes Jedi standards to be submitted. We decided it would be a good idea to write up a template for people to use in the future. Here is what I came up with based on what she gave me and I felt should be added.

Jedi costume standard template

Hello everyone this is a template to be used when writing costume standards for Jedi. These are a guideline to help you along and show you the format that the KJO likes to see. A few tips when writing your costume standards;

-Remember to think carefully about what items need to be required and what can be optional.
-What is feasible to actually make in the real world? (Not everything translates well from animation, CGI, or drawings)
-Include detail specific to the costume but don't be too wordy or complicated, write in the simplest to understand way while still conveying what you want to get across to avoid confusion and unneeded questions when people are making the costumes according to your standard.
-When possible include source material and references.
-Is it possible or even worth making formal and informal requirements or should you just make a standard set of requirements?

Required Items:

1. Head Include here Hair, Beard, Lekku, Ear caps, Facial markings, Mask etc. If there is a lot you can break this into sub categories.

2. Head gear Include here Helmets, Headbands, Head coverings etc.

3. Body Include here if there is body paint, alien style hands etc.

4. Outer Tunic Include the material, style, colour, length, shoulder tucks, etc.

5. Inner Tunic Include material, style and colour, is a dickie approvable or do you require a full inner tunic?

6. Tabards Include material, colour and dimensions specifically length and where they start and end, and how they are to be worn. (example if they cross over or something specific to your costume)

7. Obi sash Include material, colour and dimensions.

8. Armour Included colour, style and if it is weathered or not. Could be broken down into individual pieces.

9. Gloves Colour, type, hand plates or not.

10. Pants or leg coverings Type, colour, material.

11. Belt Size, colour, style, material.

12. Pouches Size, style, colour, number of pouches needed. Are there multiple different pouches?

13. Covertec or belt hook?

14. Food pellets Included or not?

15. Boots Colour, style, height.

16. Lightsaber Details, colour of hilt, style.

Optional Items:

1. Second Lightsaber.
2. Robe/Cloak.
