I recently commissioned a Leia wig from another approved Legion member because other methods of doing the buns just aren't working for me. I'm already approved with my costume, but I want the wig to meet Legion standards so my whole costume appears to be high quality and as close to screen-accurate as possible.
The first time I tried to submit, I was rejected because my costume judge told me my buns were too far apart in the back. I'm afraid that this wig's buns may also be too far apart, so before the fellow Legion member who made the wig for me moves forward with it, I wanted to make sure there is not too much of a distance between the buns. She says that if she moves them any further back, my ears will be exposed, and that is obviously not screen-accurate.
Here is a picture of the back of the wig:

If anyone, especially costume judges, can help out with this, I'd really appreciate it![/list] _________________

It really depends on how it looks on you. It is hard to say with the wig just on a wig stand. If your buns were positioned nicely in front but too far apart in back, that probably means that they were too small. I would be interested to see what the wig looks like on you. _________________
