Looking for help on either a wig or info on how to style Leia's hair from both TFA and TLJ.

Thanks for any and all help to get my wife's dream started.

There are a number of great tutorials linked in this thread, as a start: http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21883

It depends on your wife's hair length and whether she wants an exact color match what kind of wig or hair piece would be best.

With long hair, a common technique is to add extra extensions to pigtails and twist them into the buns for more thickness. This could also work for the ESB bun.

For short hair, insta-buns that you can just pin over your natural hair may be a good option.

Wigs have the advantage that you can get an exact color, but they often have an obvious wig hairline and can be hot and heavy. But, you don't have to style them every time. For wigs, you would want something that is already styled to have pigtails and then twist the buns from there. You may need extra extensions to get the proper fulness of the buns.

Sorry for misreading that. The same is true for using hair pieces vs. wigs for those two hair styles.

I can't link to the tutorial directly from here, but someone just posted a great tutorial in the Ladies of the Legion facebook group on how to do the hair for the TLJ blue dress.
