Greetings!

This is probably my favorite Satine outfit by far (and the easier one to replicate). I made a test piece of out leftover materials and hopefully I'd be able to make it again in silk velvet, which will have more accurate texture and shine.

current misses:

1) The direction of the embroidered trim. I ran out of dark red satin so I had to put a seam in the middle part of the hood.

2) The cape pattern. I used a simple half circle since there's no visible pleats at the neckline, but you can't really tell with animated capes _(:з」∠)_

3)The size of the embroidery. 75% percent will probably be more screen-accurate.

Any ideas? : )

I would say this looks really great so far Smile
Indeed resizing slightly smaller the pattern could look more accurate.

If you haven't seen yet. You might find that useful for additional references: http://www.senate.rebellegion.com/?portfolio=satine-kryze-red-cloaked-dress

But I'm not sure the "easier one to replicate" statement is accurate Very Happy If you limit to the cape sure, but the inner dress is quite complex. And would actually be required for RL membership :s

Thank you for the concept art! I traced the crest pattern from a screen-cap and scanned it to make a digital pattern for embroidery.

Yes the easies part refers to the cape alone. I have plans for the rose outfit but decided to make something less intimidating.

That cape looks great so far! You seem to be right on with colors, and the decoration around the hood is lovely.

It looks very good. Smile I'd go for a bit more solid red and less purple-red, but I know you said it was a scrap from another project and you plan on remaking it.

I also agree with making the pattern on the border slightly smaller, but generally it looks good.

Good luck with your updates and making the rest. Smile
