& now for the photo dump of progress!

drew out cut lines & circled some areas i'd need to fill in

got the back cut off

visor & teeth cut out (still needs refining)

hey look, the back!

little work on the visor with a small file

had to put it on before it was done, because i'm impatient

legs trimmed (but not smoothed on the edges)

test fitting one leg

trimmed & taped up the ab/kidney area

more ab/kidney pictures

& skipping ahead a bit because i forgot to take more pictures; bottom half taped together & held together for test fitting (the shoes are also pictured)

thanks!
i know i've got a little more to trim, but nothing that's really affecting general spacing/sizing. just edge cleanup for the most part Smile

they say to start off with a joke. well...

i can't see my feet  i don't know how you people operate like this, this is worse than my Tie Pilot haha

& now for the fun part. there's no strapping on here, it's kind of all held up by sheer force of will. i pushed my legs together to hold the thighs up and the chest is just hanging on by its own (taped on) plastic straps. the helmet has no padding or back on it so i had to hold it up. but look, there's progress! it's slow going but i'm trying to keep consistent on it. the shoulders are pure witchcraft (not gonna lie, totally terrified of working on them) so those will be their own weekend endeavor
