A recent order of RA Y-wing helmets had nice thick plastic. Very happy with that as I had been worried.

I, personally, have had a bad buying experience from Richies. I am not so keen on trusting them to deliver unto me a quality product, just because they skimped on the quality of the product that I had ordered. Granted it was only a $20 part, but there is principle involved.

I guess I will be waiting on Jim for his production run to come full circle.

My helmet kit came in great shape. I'd heard some people had bad pulls, warped plastic, etc. but the two kits I got weren't warped and were pretty sturdy. I actually expected it to take a bit longer to get here too...imagine my surprise when I got home Saturday and found that they were here in under two weeks.

The fun part will be watching the husband put them together... Wink

I got my RA x-wing helmet a few weeks ago.
It's great, I'm very happy with it.

Great news guys!

Both the OCSWS and the Sunrider base is doing an X-wing project and we are getting our helmets from Richie.

Question: Did the completed helmets come with mics? If anyone got a kit, did is come with a mic? Did both or either come with decals?

Mine was a complete helmet and it included a mic.
The stickers were placed as part of my requested paint job.

Thanks for the info.

No earcups...right?

Did you pay for a custom paintjob? Please PM me the cost if you don't mind. Some of our group may want to have him do one for them.

They look like David Clark's.
