i like to put the face to optional.

there are some points we cant say very clear at the moment, but i think its a good compromiss for the begin.

- pants
- back of the coat
- belt

what exact do you mean by it doesnt work like the tfa luke?
inner tunic: seems clear to me .. exept that i dont believe that the collar is wider, i think its only not closed. but its the same result.
boots & wraps: seems the same technic like tfa only other colour (used look)
belt: seems the same to me. maybe only not in brown but in black or very dark brown colour. (more used)

I think we should not try to find new wording for same looking thing. it is more clear if we have the same wording in all our standards. and we dont have to invent the wheel once again.

yours
Leroni

This ones kinda blurry but the rest are very clear I think?

Yeah, I thought I remembered it had a double fold on the back pretty far up, above where it splits. Smile I can see that starts at the end of the shoulder blades and then it splits around hips(?).

Leroni, it's not the same tunic, so you can't simply copy the text from another standard. This is a different tunic with a different collar in a different material. Using the same kind of wording is fine, but the description should match the visuals from Crait.

Regarding the shirt, I simply mean to use the same kind of wording, but making sure you are describing this tunic, not another tunic from a different costume, since the tunics are not the same. Smile

I'm not sure what the best way would be to describe the pleat/folding in the back of the trenchcoat. But there probably is a specific term for it.

Okay. Smile

Off-white or natural white shirt.
It has a standing collar approximately 2 inches / 5 cm high. The collar sides do not touch. The shirt cuts high across the throat, completely covering the collarbone, with approximately 3-3.5 inches / 7-9 cm between the collar sides in front.
The shirt is long sleeved with a long cuff. The cuff is fitted and extends halfway up the underarm.
Both the collar and cuffs should have texture to the material.

Someone else may write that better than me, but that is a quick description of the shirt.

When I was making my costume like this, I asked myself, "Does the hood really have to be double lined?" Mine is, according to this proposal. But, is it actually necessary for the costume?

Just an observation to consider.

Hello everyone!

It is the current version of this proposal

Required Items:
FACE:
-The face is worn and aged.

HAIR:
-The hair is a light brown. Style like seen on reference pictures.
-Full beard is darker in color from the head hair and is well trimmed.

INNER TUNIC:
Same style as ROTJ with a closed bib and mandarin collar. Tunic is white and should not be see-through. Linen preferred. Mandarin collar should be fitted with a wide opening in front. The cuff starts mid forearm, (Cuff is fitted and closed with three (3) hidden snaps/press studs or similar, double-length cuff (approximately 10cm/4″ long) speculation.). Collar and cuffs are stitched in small lines.

OUTER TUNIC:
The Outer Tunic is black, folded left over right. Linen preferred. The Tunic has no separate collar. The Tunic does not reach the wearers buttocks and crotch area. Front closure claps at the top of the hood and continues to the bottom of the hem. Sleeves end just above the coat sleeves.
The Hood is double lined and ends at the front closure. There is a seam in the middle of the hood. The Hood lasts to the end of the blade bone.

BELT:
Wide brown leather (or leather-like) belt with slim sewn on borders in the same material. It has a large hexagonal buckle with a hammered and weathered look. The buckle should be as big as the belt or a tiny bit larger and follow a 3 high, 5 wide rule in dimensions.

COAT:
The coat is made from a black material and reach to the ankle. On the jacket portion the material is grooved. The sleeves are nearly reaching the wrist at the inside of the arm and are shorter at the outside of the arm. In the lower part the coat is slitted on the back (Trenchcoat-Style)

PANTS:
The pants are wide and black.

BOOTS & WRAPS
Boots are in a brown colour. The boots should be wrapped from ankle and up to mid calf in a material similar in color to the boots. (Wraps are also referred to as puttees). They must have a thick sole in rubber/foam or similar in a color matching the boots. Boots and wraps should closely match the pants.

Optional Items:
- Lightsaber.
The lightsaber is graflex Anakin style blue. If blade is not attached it is fixed with a triangular clip on the right side of the wearer. (No toy sabers, no Ultimate FX short saber). The lightsaber may be a static prop (hilt-only).

Yours
