I'm new here and have no idea if this is the right place but I thought why the heck not. I'm just starting to get into cosplay and was thinking on joining the legion at some point.

But I'll cut the preamble. I wanted to know what these

guys are wearing. Where do I get my hands on this stuff? I understand you buy your helmets from certain manufacturers, so do they also make the helmets these guys have?

Again truly sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I'd appreciate the help.

Thank you!

I've looked at these guys as well, but there's project #3 for me, but I've done a little bit of looking. The main garment seems to be a pull-over military style anorak/park. Something like this. Don't buy the one I linked bc it's the wrong color/cut. I just linked it as an example of a similar garment.

There may be a specific military surplus the costume department used/patterened the costumes on. There are a couple different surplus varieties in a similar style with a flaring hem at the bottom + the central chest pocket. Presumably these garments have hoods but I haven't found a good picture of the back yet so I can't confirm.

The ammunition bandoliers look to be Sten ammo bandoliers that have been properly beat up a bit to give a lived in look.

I haven't really dug much further into that costume since it's not my primary project at the moment, but I hope this helps you out with your own searching.

I have an approved TFA Trooper and most of the costume appears to be old military surplus stuff. The thick yellowish-brown jacket is a Soviet Union Afghanistan campaign jacket. The trousers probably are Vietnam era Army or Marine surplus as well. Many of the TLJ items appear similar as well, but the Gorka is more in the spotlight.

The anorak you linked to is probably not far off. If you look at the Visual Dictionary and screen shots, I think there are several styles used. I am away from home at the moment, but will try and post pics when I am back on the weekend.
