Just wondering, do we have a thread for this?

I've noticed that the look of the fabric of Poe's flightsuit is different than TFA ya? Could it be changed to something non synthetic? The bombers/gunners also uses the same fabric ya?

I'm planning to start on the gunner (and then probably bomber) after i get my Poe approved Smile

I think I'm going for a TLJ A-Wing pilot. Looks like the same suit as the X-wing pilots, just green instead of orange, which is more or less the same as they were in RotJ. Vest looks like it might be different, and the chestbox hose attaches in different places.

Bombers look like they even had a different chestbox (other than the fact that two more buttons light up than TFA).

Lower half of body is completely different from the A wing/bombardier/gunner to xwing suit

Same suits were used for the Xwings as in TFa

Here's my first WIP preview of the chestbox.

Would love some comments and critics Smile

The dimension of the boxes:

Small one in the middle: 6cm x 7cm x 2cm

Large one: 10cm x 15cm x 3cm

I think it looks great, just a couple of questions.

Is this a single print? Or are some parts printed separately to make painting this easier (buttons, inner box, etc.), or using acrylic buttons...

As far as attaching hoses how were you considering that.

I have no idea of the dimensions but this looks like it’s in range of features compared to what is seen for Paige in the visual dictionary. Interested in seeing how this progresses.

Just like my Resistance Pilot chestbox it will be broken down into parts just in case we need to put some lightings in it. It'll also be easier to paint that way Smile

Fabric wise, i'm looking at 1000D Cordura again, just need to find the right shade.

Coyote Gold

Spectra Yellow (i like this shade, perhaps smear it a bit with dirt or coffee to make it darker?)

Pale Khaki (way too light?)

We started accumulating hardware from a supplier, seems we are doing similar things. Strongbow nailed the hardware for the lower left front of the vest, thinking this could maybe be a 3D print or resin cast, as it may be hard to find.

The hardware on the lower right front of the vest - someone thought that was a part of a dog leash. We have to say that’s our next search since Strongbow's hardware was confirmed by our supplier. Just a thought on both of the lower front vest parts.

I searched photos for ‘personnel lowering device’, and ‘parachute lowering device’. If you find any supplier of the hardware only let us know Very Happy

Also I think there are two vest variants, one that is longer with hardware on the lower front left and right, and one without the need for this item.
