yeah I'm keen on this as well. to be very honest with the light the costume looked to be all black with the belt a dark brown and the undershirt as white. but I'm looking for references soon as well.

Interesting comments about the lighting - usually the problem is that things are some damned dark you can't make out any detail. But since these scenes were broad daylight against a snow-type backdrop, hopefully the details should be quite clear when we get some decent references.

Just looking to start work on the white undershirt first. Recently completed a black ROTJ one, so will adopt the same method. As mentioned, there may be some extra stitching on the collar, so I'll keep an eye for that when I see the movie next.

Saber ("Rey" version) ordered, Black Series, may require one or two little mods but should suffice. Was considering refurbishing my old MR Luke ANH one with the required parts, but it's too badly damaged now I think.

The most frustrating thing about discussing this costume is that we currently have absolutely no references. -_- I'd love to have just a couple of well lit references. Heck, I might have to watch the movie again just to look at this some more. (And then bring a noteblock and pen).

I thought it was all black, myself.

Unfortunately, it would probably require a picture taken during the film or pirated (both of which are illegal).

The white undershirt is not the same. its not the same material its not the same design.

The collar arches inward on this one and has a large gap. It appears to have lines on the collar and on the armcaps

The white/whiteish collar it's similar to Galen Erso's one (Tarkin Initiative).
All the other cloth are black (to my eyes) and they remainded me Yun costume (from Star Wars: Dark Forces 2 - Jedi Knight)...

Yep, that collar is completely different from his Old Luke/ceremonial jedi robes costume. The rest of the construction may be the same/similar, but I don't think we will really know until we get some actual photos of this.

(And of course, it's Crait Luke that gets all the attention, because of the lack of information about it). Razz

No problem Kylo, I won't get a chance to work on this for a while, so it's good to see someone taking the lead! Your costume looks great!

Wasn't sure if the front of the black tunic wrapped around like a normal Jedi tunic, or whether it was flat-fronted. If it is wrap-around, then I can use my existing Jedi tunic, with a hood added.

Interesting, this pic seems to show NO fold-over fastening on the front of the black tunic.

Does seem to clarify though that the cape actually includes arms as well . . . curious.

I do see a fold over. It's right at the hood. You can see the sheen of it arching over his right breast Smile
