Figured I should actually join the forums ...
I’m a 181st pilot in the 501st.
As the Imperial Baron Fel is only a few pieces different than what I have, I decided to do it.

2 weeks ago, I realized that the Rebel Fel was also only a few pirces different as well.
So, I’m doing the “Double Traitor” Fel, in both Imperial and Rebel forms.

I only need to do:
For Fels:
Need-
Imp-
Helmet
Mod shoulder straps
Mod a belt for a cog buckle
Make the shoulder patches velcro

Reb Fel:
Helmet
Chest box/straps
Belt with approriate buckle & flares
Boot flare wrap & flares

I have the Hill TIE helmet already, inc. the ATAT canisters for the back.
I also have a black X-Wing helmet & white chest box on orde
I have enough strap for the belt, just need a buckle & the 1” straps for the flares.
I got a belt from Ebay that showed the right buckle (I ordered an olive one, to use for a leg flare wrap), but got one that was different.
I’m planning to make one in black & one in olive.

One day, I will do a more “normal” X-winger, but that is futher off (will need another helmet, suit, vest, & white compad.
Then, I will look like the Clemson fan that I am ..
Hahahaha

Welcome to the RL Jokr, From a fellow 181st/ Fel Tie Pilot.

Remember the Fel's Rebel Flight suit does not have the cogs on it.

I’m looking for red velcro, so I can make the cogs removable, but keel the same red/black look.

Would either a red ln black or black on red bird patch work as an alternate?
(Whichever blands away when finished).

I have a cosplay sky suit I could stripe-up, but I’m not as happy with it as I am the WW one I have for my 181st suit & Imp Fel (why I need velcro anyways- 2 different cog required).

I did the exact same thing on my 181st/ Fel WW flightsuit. I dont know if it would be approved but we could ask in the pilot section to see what the judges would say about the patch covering the velcro.

Jokr I posed the question here:

On the cosplay suit, the thigh pockets are right over my knees, which looks rather different than the WW & MonCal suits.

Unless that is acceptable for RL, I don’t see that as a real option.

Like I said ...
“Not happy” with it.

I’m not planning to ever get another.
