Hi =)

I'm new here, but i'll post here my Ceremonial Gown WIP

Hoping to be soon a fellow member of the REBEL LEGION

Required Items:

2. The belt is silver and firm leather or a similar material with a soft V curve in front. There can be a white, wide elastic in the back or it can close in the same way as the senatorial belt. There are minimum nine (9) metal pieces on it; eight (Cool elongated octagonal matching with one (1) pentagon shape in the center front. They should be spaced evenly and closely, and additional octagonal pieces should be added to achieve the look if necessary. The pieces have a metal button in the middle around 1”/2.5 cm wide. The belt sits at naval level.
3. A silver necklace with 1”/2.5 cm squares. The necklace should sit closely to the throat. Each square has a ‘valley’ in the middle and should closely resemble what is seen on the screen. The original is a Lapponia design by Björn Weckström called ‘Planetoid Valleys’.
4. A silver bracelet worn on the right wrist. The bracelet should be wide and have the same proportions as the one seen on screen. The original is a Lapponia design by Björn Weckström called ‘Darina’s Bracelet’.
5. Silver dress shoes with a 1”-2”/2.5-5 cm wide heel. The toe should be rounded, not pointed.
6. Hair is pulled back at the crown of the head into a large braided bun with a long braid descending from it. The long braid must be thick and reach down to the lower back and preferably go past bum. It must have at least 5”/12 cm of loose hair at the bottom, preferably more. If a wig or extensions are used they must be of a high quality and appear like real hair.

OPTIONAL ITEMS:

1- Red lipgloss
2 - Light pink eye shadow and rouge
3 - Medal of Yavin

I'm Currently making the dress, i already have done the belt, shoes, necklace and bracelet, hair extensions, and the optional Medal of Yavin =)

My aunt is making my dress, with mine and my sisters help, we are giving her directions.

i also put this photos on Ladies of the Legion Facebook and the ladies are giving us a nice feedback and help.

This was my second try at the dress, the bodice still needs some adjustments, the dress has no finished hems yet.

Looks great so far! Hard to see clearly in your mock up but I would say your v point is quite low and needs to come up to within a few inches of the finished neck line and also make sure you have enough fabric in the under and over dress for a train in the back

Thank you,
Yes the bodice needs some adjustments, and the neckline is going to be a bit lower.

The under dress also needs a train? I though the train was only on the Over dress

It's just the overdress. Smile Finding the right fabric for it can be tricky. I've seen people use both too sheer and too opaque fabrics for it, so keep that in mind. Chiffon may be hell to work with, but it looks good. Wink

And about the overall shape of the dress Lora?

You were the one who judge my sisters Senatorial Gown 😁😁😁😁 She told me all about it
