NYCC 2017 has a TLJ props display. Starwars.com posted an article with pictures.

All I have to say is: AAAHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHHHH WHOOOOOOO!!! *runs around flailing arms all happy*

There is a Resistance Bomber.

Further, a new book was announced called "Cobalt Squadron". The publisher's summary: "New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Wein (Code Name Verity, Rose Under Fire) journeys to a galaxy far, far away to bring readers the harrowing story of the courageous bomber pilots and technicians of Cobalt Squadron!"

There's also a couple figures out of Paige Trico, a gunner for the Resistance bomber (a Hasbro action figure and a LEGO minifigure). LEGO also has minifigures of the bomber pilot and bombardier. Smile

In fact, here's Paige...

"How did he do such wonderful stunts.... with such little feet??" Smile

That's the new A-wing pilot, Gil. Gots me chomping at the bit to see better what the suit looks like. It almost looks as if the pattern of the suit is the same as the tomato X-wing, but olive green. Same for bomber crews, but mustard yellow. That new vest looks like it's shared between bomber crews & A-wing pilots.

about the costume, it looks like an update hoth pilot costume
and helmet with an outisde visor, sorry but my opinion it looks nicer then the x-wing version, but this is my opinion

like the cool scarve.

It's certainly an interesting outfit, no doubt about it, and it also looks to be a challenging one. The flight suit appears to be closer to the Resistance X-wing pilot suit, but in a different color and a different collar, and possibly different pockets and such. The vest retains the X-wing pilot's puffy collar but the construction of the vest appears to be drastically different.

One interesting thing to note that, at least in the Hasbro artwork, she's wearing gloves that are very, very similar to the gloves worn by Blue Squadron pilots in Rogue One, right down to the stitching and paneling.

The new Resistance ship is called “MG-100 Starfortress” it’s known as the T-Wing. I absolutely love this ship. I am facinated by WWII aircraft and this ship makes me think of one of the American Bombers. I’m researching the outfit and I plane to hopefully have it done before Denver Comic Con 18’. I’m going for Nix Jerd ( the bombardier). At first glance, I get the sense that the uniform has Imperial Japanese pilots uniforms. I read somewhere, that the mask is designed off of Vietnam War era flight mask. I hope to get started in the new year with this build and working with the Rebel Legion Mountain Garrison members through the process. Happy Holidays and New Years blessings to everyone.

Thanks Anya,

I love to see the new A-wing flight suit. I have an idea to incorporate the old A-wing flight suit with the new A-wing helmet. I am still not a fan of the helmet. Sorry a-wing pilots.

I hope there will be a better visual examples of the bomber and other flight suits. I hope before eps 9. I wonder if DK will show more books.

We are Rebel Scum!

I'm hoping to get more details on the bomber crew; I'd love to get a full crew of pilot, bombardier/flight engineer, and gunners!

At first glance, it looks like it's a mustard-colored flightsuit very similar to the TFA X-Wing one with a modified vest. Lots more buckles and straps. Different gloves, different helmet, different chest box.
