Troopers,

Recently I came across a found item that looks like it could have been the possible source or inspiration of the Rebel Fleet Trooper sky blue shirt.

The Swedish M59 blue 2-button pullover shirt has an uncanny resemblance to the screen used item, specifically that it does not have buttons all the way down the front. Just remove cuffs, add bib, and there you go!

At any rate it may be a good source for us in our conversions.

It looks pretty good...
in the photo provided, the fabric almost looks like a knit/jersey
...which would not be good....
the website only states that the fabric is 100% cotton (which is GREAT) ...BUT...it does not state if it is a cotton knit/jersey...

When you go to the other two links, the fabric does not look as much like a knit/jersey....

I think I would need to know that about the fabric...

My friend and I are currently building some RFTs and we are stumped on the shirts. I emailed the first link to see if they tell me what material is used and if it is jersey knit or something else. Havent heard back yet but its only been a few minutes lol.

It is not a jersey knit that I know of. It appears to be a cotton chambray.
