There's someone in the UK who makes a pretty decent-looking kit. I haven't seen one in person but the pictures look pretty good. I'll see if I can find him, I have his prop shop on Facebook, just gotta remember the name of it...

I know about the guy named "Dex" and tried to reach him but he doesn't seem to be around anymore. His helmets looked nearly perfect. Please let me know if you do find this other person making these helmets!

That's him! Thanks. I couldn't remember it for the life of me.

This one we are not sure on exactly what the top looks like since I cant find a clear picture yet. But it is really close based on what we have so far.

It's hard to say what that particular greeblie looks like, or what it even is. The Star Wars Costumes book just says it's a block of LEDs, though it doesn't look like an LED light to me, but who knows...

There are 3 pictures online that show pretty much the structure of it, but not the fine details. Unless those several helmets with this same part show up again and someone gets really good pictures of it, we will never know:(

I wonder where these originals are kept.

Yes that is the pic that has the best view of the top of the forehead part. If I had a high resolution version we might be able to get the morphology correct. But zooming it in has given what he posted.

In addition I asked him to make the rear right side greeblie. That is clearly seen in this picture. I hope to see his draft soon. He is finishing up the piston/engine part geeblie for the left chin pocket.

I also contacted the guy doing paper models (https://www.facebook.com/Fierfeks-Premium-Pepakura-Files-1491369971100043/) and sent him the drawings DEX posted years ago since it is almost exactly right in terms of the shape, etc. Best I have seen.

So soon we should have as exact as possible shape with greeblie options for all.

RA and the the DCpropshop on FB are very good but both are not correct in shape....

I think this one is the amber/orange forehead greeblie seen on one of the helmets. I was thinking it was a plastic strip but some kind of LED thing makes sense for it.
