I just posted over at the yahoo group, but figured I would give a shout over here as well.

I am looking for 2 bandoliers, or materials to make 2 bandoliers. Tried Sportsmans guide but they are sold out of everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

-Eric

Bandoliers are optional. You could still be "canon" w/out them. Smile

PM me if you are interested.

Like I posted on the Endor Bunker Group, you're actually going to need 2 straps per bandolier, if you make them like I think the rest of us have. Unless you're going to "cheat" and somehow attach the front "half" under a vest or jacket or duster where the missing back won't be seen.

Then you'll also need some extra webbing to make the loops for the greebies. The loops are actually narrower then the main straps, but I think some people have just used the same webbing for both parts.

Yeah Tony is hookin it up!

I will go out in search of narrower webbing this weekend. Should be able to find something. Maybe.

I plan to use the Endor bunker tutorial for my bandolier so no worries about matching. Thanks again guys and gals!

woo hoo

Glad you had some left Tony...

I am pretty much tapped of the strapping material...
I made several bandoliers for others...and sent out a bunch of my extras a while back....

what I do have left (if you want to go that route) is the olive drab elastic that I used as the top (looped) strapping....it keeps the greeblies in place...they don't fall out...

others have used OD regular strapping too....you just have to glue the greeblies in the loops....otherwise they have a tendency to fall out...
either way..
it's all good...
Very Happy

If you have some of the elastic for the top I will gladly take you up on that. Do you happen to have enough for 2 bandoliers?

Pm and let me know and I will have the paypal out to you asap. It will save me alot of time and gas so I am most appreciative.

Thanks again everyone!

My bandolier greeblies are screwed onto the main strap, they aren't going anywhere.

Yes....I have enough elastic for two...
No need for Pay Pal...
just PM me with your adress and I will mail them to you.

I did use screws on the greeblies on the back side of the bandolier....as there didn't appear to be a "strap on a strap" in the back....as I recall...

Yes, but I'm sure you agree that bandoliers ARE optional, right? I think there are way more important components to this costume than just bandolier/greeblies. In my own opinion, I think the color of the donut & gloves are way more important! (like for instance gray colored donuts & yellow gloves)

I have the correct color gloves now...but...they are too big...
