I wouldn't trust it to be too terribly accurate from that place.

Oh they are still around tho have changed the name to costumebase's.

I'm no expert on the Rebel Troopers (whichever type) costumes but will try to take a look when I drop by their shop to get my hat. Assuming the item is there.

Personally, I'm not impressed on the materials used and accuracy of the costumes tho' I can't deny the quality is good for many of the stuffs. Not too sure if they want to work towards a more accurate costume as many of the stuffs are not made here in Singapore and they are a Cosplay Costumes & Props Shop so the lower the pricetag the better to the common fan.

yes...they did change their name to Costumebase...
and..
yes...
they are all still inacurate...
and pretty much crap...

One thing that I did buy from them...at a "or best offer" thing was a Han Solo Belt/Holster...
it is made of vinyl...and probably not very good quality...but...at least I will have the hardware and buckles...
wink2

I bought their Han holster/belt, and it is very nice. It is all leather
and looks great. The problem is with the size they come real small.
No big deal for me i was customizing it anyway so no more trouble
to add 6 or so inches.

Oh, and the holster will not hold a Han style gun of and manufacture.
It is just too small to hold anything. I'm going to need to make a
custom holdout blaster for it.

They probably changed how they make it to cut cost.
I'm glad I got leather.

Not true (at least anymore) I have a Costumebase Han holster right now that I mod'd (yes, you have to cut the leatehr to allow for the scope mount) and a Luke/Han ESB Resin kit fits fine in there. This is the same size mauser as my denix. Very accurately molded Mauser ( I think this was cast of a real mauser, but anyway lol)

The quality on this at least is passible. The belt and blaster are slated as payment to the Sunrider CO in exchange for a Flak Vest.

I got the belt and holster today...and you're right ...it ain't half bad.

The belt itself is actually leather...
the holster is vinyl...
and no..
my cheesy Hasbro Han Solo DL-44 doesn't fit in it as is...

and no way will my custom Smuggler blaster EVER fit into it...not even with cutting...
come to think about it...time to put up my Smuggler signature for a while...
Very Happy

I guess I was also lucky to get their "all leather" gunbelt and holster.
It needed cutting to take my Han ANH blaster (slightly larger than the Denix [denix is 9% smaller than a real Mauser])
I bought the Whole Han costume on a best offer and modded it for accuracy.
Basically it was far easier (and waaaay cheaper) for me to Mod an existing piece than to make from scratch.
The only thing not modified is the shirt. I have shortened the Vest even more and tightened the pants since this pic was taken.

I bought the Endor Commando on a best offer too. I was surprised that it was yellow, pea green and white. White?! Thankfully, the Endor Bunker put me in the right direction of their tutorial, and it became a good base to start with. With the Michael's silk flower spray paint, it turned out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself! Cool

The fit was fine, the length of the duster perfect, pants and duster were lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods.
