So I'm a first timer, and figured I would get the best feedback if I just post a breakdown of what I have so far:

Belt is from costume base, pants are from cosplaysky, boots are soviet surplus, gun is a rubies in need of repainting, made the shirt and vest myself. The vest still needs some seam work cleaned up but that's fixable. I added the pintuck to the pants and some stirrups to keep blousing down. I have a cap in the holster too but forgot to upload a picture.

Full turnaround:

I'm not a judge, so I don't have too much input to give. I think things are looking pretty good so far though. Need the correct pants belt is the primary thing. I'll have to find the old thread about mods for the Costumebase holster rig, as the drop down part of the holster has that excess faux leather piece there (but unsure if that is judged against you or not). Those are the two things that stick out to me.

Oh, and the pet peeve of mine in that I want to finish your inside vest seams. Whether it's surging or adding lining, those frayed edges no one will see! That's me being OCD is all.

First things first—although I am an LCJ, I cannot be the lead judge on your costume since you are from my Base. As such, be aware that any feedback I give cannot be considered “definitive.” Even though the LCJ team works closely, providing feedback and recommendations, ultimately your lead LCJ will have final say over your costume. Our eyes for particular details are sometime different. What looks good to me may not necessarily look as good to another judge. I say that to avoid any potential “but the other guy said it would be approvable if I did x, y, z…” situations. In order to give feedback, I have to take off my LCJ hat and do so as a fellow costumer who has studied this costume at great length and for a long time. So, with the disclaimers out of the way, let’s move on…

Shirt- I think this looks pretty good. I like the color and the fit especially. The sleeve length looks perfect. There’s some things that maybe look a tad off with the collar construction and the “V” in the neck, but nothing too major.

Vest- Again, this looks good overall. The fit and length are correct. As mentioned, by ichnob, some clean-up on the edges but the pockets look properly placed and all the necessary details are there. Only thing I see is that this vest is supposed to have a waistband on the bottom. It should be 1 ¼” to 1 ½” wide or so. It would be easy enough to add it on, but that would add length to the vest, and your length already looks good. Getting added on correctly may require relocating your pockets, which could be kind of a lot of work. The waistband is not necessarily required, as it is not in the Standards, and we have certainly approved vests without it before, but it should be there if you want something that looks really accurate.

Pants- I would suggest taking them in a bit personally. If they fit well, then don’t take in the waist or seat, obviously, but maybe open up the inner seam and take them in around the legs a bit. Pintucks look good. Riding seam on these isn’t quite correct—I think it curves inward around the knee area instead of running down the center of the leg all the way to the cuff. Not a big deal though. Adding the embroidered bloodstripes will go a long way in improving these.

Boots- I’m on the fence a little with these. Technically, they meet all the requirements—they are leather, they are tall enough—but, as previously mentioned by some others on your earlier thread, they look a bit “soft.” I don’t think it’s really a matter of “stiffening” the shaft necessarily; I think they’re just not made from the right kind of leather. They look like they’re made from a garment- weight leather like a jacket would be made from, as opposed to the harder, more patent-leather type material that Han’s proper boots are made from. Again, though, another judge may have a different opinion.

Take that for what it’s worth. I’ll do a follow up post a little later to address the blaster and gun belt…

"I may not be Han Solo, but I play him in real life."

Looking good! Shirt and vest are great. The pants looks good but could be alittle tighter.
I think the boots works. It is hard to find really good boots.

The only thing that stands out to me are the gunrig.
the "holster" part looks to hang alittle low. (Can be hard to walk around with).
Otherwise thumbs up! Smile
