Hi all! I have lost a significant amount of weight and now, to celebrate that, want to attempt the ripped version of Padme's Geonosis outfit.

My approved costume was made with Ponte Roma fabric but I am not happy with the lack of stretch in it so when I have this new version made, I want to try a different fabric for it.

Does anyone have any suggestions/links/names of fabric that would be approvable? I found an off white knit at JoAnn's (Papyrus Rayon Spandex Knit) but its not quite opaque enough and I don't want to have any wardrobe issues . Shocked

Any help would be appreciated. TIA. white battle padme

It looks to me like it's a fairly thick, matte knit fabric, which would require only one layer, but I honestly don't have experience in this one myself. Probably some kind of cotton-spandex blend?

Thanks, Jenna! I was able to find a double knit off white that will work perfectly. Smile

Gotta love the LA Fabric district.
