Does the sole of the boot need to be black?

I have the first pair (Ellie) of boots. Yes, you may need to paint the soles, but they are nice for the price.

I ordered these as possible backups when my approved boots fall apart. The strap on the bottom can be removed completely by sliding it off the boot (its not sewn on) and the strap on the side can be removed just by taking the stitches off. I'm curious, though, as to what the judges think?

If you can remove the straps, I think they will be good.

They have a little heel, but once the straps are removed they will be pretty nice. Smile
