|

|
I purchased some kanekalon hair ahwile back to do Leia hairstyles and it's extremely frizzy. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to smooth them out that won't damage the hair fibers, and if there's some kind of tutorial out there?
Thanks!

Hi.
I've used kanekalon for both my Leias and I've found the slight wave isn't a problem. Just try to avoid tangles as you braid/twist it. The waves aren't something you can get rid of, but you can hide them simply by styling the hair.
I'll move this to the Leia section so more people will see it. _________________

i have used water with a mixture of spray in conditioner. The Aussie type...just a light mist and then leave them to dry. Worked out pretty well. _________________ Rebel Legion: Mountain Base

The frizziness actually helps a bit. If you get "silky" it's very dense and heavy, which makes it hard to keep on your head (and gives headaches). The frizzy stuff is much lighter and easier to keep on your head. _________________

If it's too frizzy for you liking, try putting hairnets on top once you've done the buns and pin them close to the hair. I plan on doing this for certain events and photos, since sometimes it is noticeable. For me it also depends on the day haha, sometimes they're frizzy and sometimes they're not and I never know what it'll be. |
