Before my black hose I used the black covering of gas pipes, or you could use the washing machine hose...
It's about an inch thick...
I connected it to the pocket using a garden hose connector to make it smooth
For the greeblies I send you a pm _________________ Oh that first view of Tatooine... I was lost forever |

Here's a pic of my pack. The hose is attached inside the main compartment and runs down the right side of the pack. I cut a hole in the side of the right pocket toward the bottom and used a pipe fitting to add detail. Hope that helps! _________________

I built my own greblies, so can't help you there, but as for mounting: I didn't want to cut any holes in my pack or do any extra stitching, so I simply pass the upper end of the hose through the cordage at the top flap, then glued a rare earth magnet into the other end of the hose. I positioned a small steel plate inside the pack and the magnet does the rest. |

my question is where did the black hose come from? looking at the costume standards, which does not mention the black hose and the book star wars costumes of the original clothing and such i see no black hose attached to the canvas pack. so is it necessary or not for approval? |

It came from this reference photo:
The soft pack is optional, so you can be approved without it. 100% accurate packs would have the tube and greeblies, but you can be approved without both. _________________

Thanks everyone!
I got my 3d printed greebs and hose on my pack, I think it turned out awesome! I used strong magnets to attach the hose so i didnt have to damage the backpack. With my new jacket and backpack, my endor trooper V2 is now approved. I also made a bunker buster bomb but needless to say I don't take it to many events...

So there is a picture in the Star Wars costume book of the softpack with no hose on the softpack. So my question is we have pictures of the softpack with and without the hose, so are both acceptable? |

I'm currently building my own Endor Commando. But I can not find the files for the pack greeblies. And the link posted here does not seem to work anymore, can someone help please.

Yahoo closed down the yahoo groups. The files and tutorials were transferred to Schph's Rebel Trooper Costume Builders Aid Society on Facebook. I found not find any 3D-print files there so you might have to ask Schph if she has any. https://www.facebook.com/groups/842066172863260/files
Another good source for info and files is the facebook-group Endor Rebel Commando Costume Armory https://www.facebook.com/groups/1567290883392672
or thingiverse.com. _________________ RIAD GRRRL-Squad-Leader 2019-present
