Hey guys!

First of all, I'm so excited to be here! This seems like a really rad community to be a part of.

I was hoping for some guidance on some accessories.

How do these boots look? They look pretty close to me...And of course I would remove the funny bow...

I was also looking at a couple belts I found on Etsy...

I may also make my own, not sure yet!

Thanks for everyones time!

If you remove the ribbon strap and can stretch the slouch a little bit, those boots might work.

The JediRobeUK belt will not be approvable because the edges do not form a continuous curve when meeting in the center with the pentagonal plate. The plates are approvable though.

The Dollyiance belt looks more like the costume standard, but we have to see how the belt looks with the costume on you. My main concern is that it says "thin pleather", and I am not sure how well the belt will hold the shape.

My concern about those boots, even without the ribbon, is that they might be too short, and they're way too slouchy. I'm not sure I would want to risk getting them and finding that you can't stretch out the slouch.

I agree with Angie that the JediRobeUK belt has a funny shape that you would have to cut down in order for it to be approvable. We're looking for belts with a smooth curve on the top and bottom edges, and that one has sharp angles.

Great guys, thanks so much! I'll skip those particular boots.

Still not sure what I'll do about the belt, maybe I'll make my own!

Thanks again!

Hi! I'd be willing to make you a belt on commission, if you're interested. I'm in the process of upgrading mine, so I've already got all my materials out. Smile You can see the base here: https://flic.kr/p/LDARCP

It's double-layer upholstery vinyl with a plastic canvas interfacing, so it's nice and sturdy, and the plates will be aluminum sheeting. This is version 1.0 with the plates: https://flic.kr/p/Lx5Vp9
(Please ignore the rest of that costume. There's a reason it's getting an upgrade. Leia Buns)

PM me if you're interested! I guarantee a better price than the ones on Etsy. Smile
