Hi Everyone!

I am starting to work on my ANH Leia! I am fairly new to cosplay and costuming, and this is my second costume (the first one being Kylo Ren). I am looking forward to recreating Leia's iconic look from A New Hope and hopefully join the RL!

I already bought some stuff:

- white knit fabric (rayon) for the gown

- white faux leather for the belt

- a Rubie's Leia blaster, already sprayed black, and I will paint on detailing with acrylic paint

I plan on buying the Leia wig from Arda in dark brown. The only thing that's giving me a headache is the boots. Really hard to find white boots!

Okay that's all!

I look forward to seeing your progress! Leia Buns

The easiest way to post pictures is to upload them someplace like photobucket. Then you can post the links to the photos here between two image tags that look like [ IMG ]link to the photo.jpg[ /img ] but without the spaces.

Yeah I tried that but when I hit "Preview" I still just saw the text and I didn't dare to just try it anyway Very Happy
Gosh I feel like a total n00b... It's not like I do not have any experience with the internet and computers and stuff, but the RL forum just kills me Very Happy It seems to be a bit... old fashioned? I will get used to it, hopefully Smile

Doesn't ship to Switzerland.

Also I wouldn't like the black soles and the heel (even though it's small but I am already tall - and always happy to wear flat shoes whenever I can).

Aaaaawn, thats a pity! Sad

But you guys think it's a good option for other people that aren't tall, for example??

However, I will try to look more options to help Rusope!

Black soles are canon. Wink I'm mostly worried it's too scrunchy.

Huh, I thought they were brown and now I wonder why, because yes, they're black. Sorry for that.

Don't worry about it. Smile We all keep learning new things. I remember how surprised I was when I realised they were black, too.

If you can take the shoes to a cobbler, you can get the material stretched by partially redoing the boot. But the boots are not very visible once you put in your costume.

My boots are about as slouchy as those, but you'd need to cut the top off for them to be approvable. It's way too difficult finding cheap boots that aren't slouchy and don't have any extra bits haha

Thank you so much for your suggestion. That's just what I did and they said that they're okay now. I'm nearly finish! Very Happy
