It looks pink and purple! Which one are you working on?

Here we go again!
I would show you my upgrade about my Padme purple travelling dress.
A picture of the long purple skirt:

And here a picture of the cloth's base. My friend will sew with velvet, but this is the base model:

And I have a question: is possible sew the neck a little bit down than the official costume? Just a few milllimeters, but I can't wear dress too much tight.
This is how I'd like to do it:

To create this purple travelling dress, we are proceeding this:

I found it here Smile

I'm waiting for your opinion.
Thank you very much

I think there is no problem with making a looser collar (so, a slightly wider neck-line), but I do want to see a taller collar for this costume. You pretty much cannot see her neck in any of the photos because her collar is so tall.

Upgrade:

But I have two questions:

1. Which colour is better?

Dark or light one?

2. The colour - etched Naboo crest on the coat is mandatory or not?

Thank you!

Regarding the swatches it depends on what they should be used for and with.

And this is the standard: http://newsite.rebellegion.com/queen-amidala-episode-i-the-phantom-menace-travel-gown/

We would like to see the details from the screen used one as it really adds to the costume. Smile The standard above list the minimum requirements for approval.
