Hello guys! I have a doubt about the obi material...does it have to be of the same material of the tabards or it can be as the inner tunic? Thank you! Smile

in the movies , you rarely see the obi the same color as the tabbards.

in the case where tabbards are different from the outer tunic.. the obi is almost always the same color as the outer tunic.

(example: anakin, bultar swan, etc).

I can think of only one example where, tabbards are different from the OT ,
and the obi matches the tabbards (not the OT);
((an exception was made for GL's own son for his cameo in ROTS)) Wink

in general , when tabbards and OT don't match , then the obi matches the OT (not the tabbards).

either way , the judges don't seem to care about this,
as long as every layer falls within the color-palette, then none of the parts need to match each other.
they can ALL be different shades.
(tabbards; obi; IT; OT -- these can all be different colors / different fabrics -- the judges don't mind).
cheers.
