I saw this , and thought of Luke Wink

for only $23 it seems a no-brainer , if even just to 'experiment' and mess around..

even if they don't work 'out of the box' , I'm sure we could make something of them Wink

With a bit of work that might turn out quite good. You've already got the basics. Smile

Amazon has them, Prime shipping, for $22.57.

I was highly disappointed to see that a very nice-looking form-fitting glove in the "Customers Also Bought" section was for children. They're cheap enough ($4.4Cool that I threw a pair in the cart anyways, just in case they're stretchy enough - screen-printed Optimus Prime (movie style) gloves. Looks like the only adult ones are the red ones.

Well, I have a report on both of the linked gloves. Sadly, I haz no photos. Must correct that at some point.

The kid's glove would have been IDEAL, if I could have gotten it over my thumb. And my hands are not overly huge. Image is printed on a very thin glove, and looks like a high-tech mechanical hand. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. Cannot find one for adults - anyone have a good source to custom-print something like this?

The Ultron glove... well, for it to scale properly, I think you'd have to be like 11 feet tall. It's YUUUUUGE. I think I could literally fit both my hands into one of the gloves, though I did not try.

IMO, neither is suitable for our purposes, sadly.

Thanks for the information. I was tempted by the ultron gloves, but wanted to see them in person before ordering them. Thanks for saving me $20. Smile

I made my hand out of a tight nylon glove, painted joints and wires and added aluminum pieces around all finger lengths and top of hand, added thimbles to finger tips, looks ok but would like to see someone use a 3D printer and try and make a hand.....

I made mine out of a black cloth glove, with 3-D printed Iron Man fingers, wires, and foam "metal" pieces glued to the glove. Could use some more fine detail, but didn't turn out too badly.
