Moving this to the correct form.

Are those the fabrics you are thinking about purchasing?

I assume you're working on this costume:

Is that correct?

The standards call for:

Quote:
White or winter white floor-length A-line gown of a fleecy fabric or a medium-weight fabric with a circular pattern.

I'd like to see something with a soft texture that has a slight burn-out quality to it. That said, I think the best fabrics you found so far are these two:

How big are the circles on those fabrics, do you know?

When I did this fabric I used a wool/rayon blend and used a fabric etching chemical from Dharma trading company. I think I explained how I did it when I posted the submittal. It took me three months because I wanted it to look like the original which was felted but I am not a team of individuals to do that. Plus I have never felted before.

Hi, I would like to make the Mon Mothma costume ep . 3, I found this fabric (below the photo). The circles are about 5 cm, I asked the store a sample of this fabric, it is already slightly hairy, but "combing" with velcro gets even better. Could this fabrick goes well to make the costume?

thank you

It might, but I'd like to see the sample before saying for sure.

I would be tempted to say that it works, but another judge opinion would be good before you go and purchase it.

I'm afraid the raised parts of the circles would look too thin, and that it would just be too regular a pattern when I compare it to the references. Neutral It might work, but I'm not sure about it.
Sorry, but I can't give you any promises about this fabric.

I think one thing that would make or break it for that fabric is how big those circles are. Do you have a size reference for it (like a photo of the swatch with your hand)?
