Goodday,
I'm currently working on a luke Skywalker ROTJ(sarlacc's pit) costume, but I don't know if the fabric I'm using has the right texture/color.
here are som pictures:

The lightest one is the one I'm going to use for the inside of the bib(although you cannot see it in this costume), the dark grey one is the one I will use for the vest and tabbards. the underlayer is black for reference and is the fabric my shirt is made of.

I like the colors, I'm do not know the costume well enough to give an opinion on the texture. I would say the bib texture looks good though.

it seems to look ok. But honestly it is hard to tell from a small sample plus the photograph tends to on occassions distort colors.

I added more pics of the MR cloak in my profile, if anyone needs to see how it drapes/falls.

Well from what I can see just off the hoop. The collar appears to be too high but that could just be the statue they have it on.

What Jason said, and the material looks all wrong. The vest and obi should be a raw silk, and the shirt fabric seems too thin. The top of the shoulders in the back looks totally wrong as well (compared to mine):

"Officially", Museum Replicas makes them. But upon close inspection, the only really quality pieces IMO are the cloak and belt.

What Matt said, I have approved them previously, but in all honesty a bit reluctantly.

The obi/cloth belt especially is waaaay narrow !!! The material looks too thin also & it doesn't seem to be a good fit, but then again it is generic & not made for one personally.

Another thing is the vest,tabbard/obi system should be lighter than the shirt not darker also.

My recommendation would be to not go with it, but having said that, with modifications it might not be too bad.

Probably more approvable as "Death Star Duel"to be honest.

Not sure that clears things up actually Razz

I managed to finish my costume, except for the lightsaber. I don't want to use a MR, because it's neck is to thick. Does someone have any suggestions?
further: I got some horse-riding pants, which fit the costume very well, according to me. the only problem is that there is a small patch on the inside of the leg. is this a problem, or could it pass the requirements?

On this picture it looks very clear, but in reality one even doesn't notice it from more than 1 meter away.
Here is a picture of the complete costume. Does it look like it could pass, or does one still see any points that I have to change?
