I've gone through an up-rezzed VHS version of RoTJ and grabbed the best single frames of every shot of Slayer Leia, the Lando Vibro-Axe and all other vibro-axe designs seen in the hands of characters.

Why have I always thought that Carrie pike'd a guy on deck? Did she ever actually pick an axe up and wield it? The answer is no. Marvel comics did that for her in their release.



And cross-linking to Padawan's Guide, there's this still.


In the final cut, Leia comes on deck, runs for a fallen axe on the ground. Luke calls for her to get the gun. Cut to Leia looks up, cuts back to Luke and back to Leia running to the gun.

Copying and inserting in a new tab worked for me. And yes, never in movie, only in comic. It's always, for that reason, been amusing to me that so many slave Leia's have vibro axes. Wink I guess they really want a weapon.
