If someone is a member of both rebel legion and 501st, what is the preferred way to respond to event requests? Should I mention on both forums if I'm attending? (Hope this makes sense.)

I think it depends most on what your local 501st and RL folks do.

In Colorado, the MG501.com forums get the most traffic, so all joint-501st-RL events get posted there in a "Briefing Room." But they are cross-posted here, as well, for the people who are RL-only.

We usually mention what kit we will be wearing, so they have an idea of what costumes will be represented.

In western Canada, we have several cross club members. I usually post events that are open to both clubs in both forums. Members roster in either forum and just indicate who they are appearing as.

That's pretty much how it works for the Alberta region (one of these days I should eventually switch over to Outrider Base... naaaaaah. Razz ). The 501st boards get more attention and are usually the first place dual members see anything, but Shawn's really good at crossposting to the Rebel forums. And I haven't been chewed out yet for listing myself as "attending as a RL character" on the 501st side yet... Wink
