I've been looking for an inexpensive Lightsaber or at least one that works into my budget. I've decided the best choice for me is The Custom Saber Shop. I'm still a little unsure what all I will need and many of the saber hilt parts I want are currently out of stock. I have heard great things about TCSS and how well they work with custom orders. I was searching for inspiration and came across a saber that I love Celeste Morne's. I am a little OCD and not crazy about the pokey bit on the one side so I thought maybe I could get it custom made and change it a little.

That is the only good picture I can find.

Questions:
The blue button at the top is the switch?
Is the thing near the pommel the clip?

Any feedback/hint/tips would be great.

The forums at TCSS are a great help as well. Be patient with stock levels. They are slowly rising. With TFA last year, the store got wiped.

I'd say that the blue bit on the right (emitter end) is a blade retention screw. The protruding bit on the pommel end is probably the switch.

TCSS doesn't have a blade holder (emitter) that looks like your inspiration. Tim does do custom work, but I don't know about something that custom.

The pommel looks fairly similar to #7.

Good luck with your saber.

I'm not very knowledgeable about electronics but I think I have figured out what I need to light the saber. I'm looking at a white (or a royal blue) LED module, Buckpuck 1000mA LED driver, and a 4AA battery holder.

Eagerly watching for certain parts to be in stock. :-)
