Have you heard anything about the ball-and-strap gloves vs. the elastic ones? Are they both acceptable?

Maybe finds some green para cord for laces as they used that.

For the gloves
Personally I prefer the darker ones with the leather ball
The ones you wear in the pictures I find a bit light and really need some dirt on them to look real good

But both types are ok as long as they look weathered

In any case go gardening like repoting some plants with them to get them dirty and weathered

On the belt I whould loose the canteen, I haven't really seen a canteen on an Endor trooper and you have enough other items on the belt
so it's good

Both the vest and the duster look good to me....

Next should be the bucket and you start to look the part!

A few updates:

Did the olive oil treatment on the light color Home Depot gloves and it worked great. Darkened and weathered them up nicely.

A have my donut in hand. It's assembled, bondoed and sanded, and holes ruff cut. Just need to final size the holes to my pumpkin head and paint it.

New soft cap ordered from Mountain Princess is complete and has been shipped. Now in hand and looks great! Highly recommend.

Airsoft rifle $25 from eBay in hand.

Darthair's resin rifle conversion kit in hand.

Materials to make a bandolier in hand.

Rank badge for the vest in hand. Needs painting.

Got olive drab paracord for my gaiter laces in hand.

Some things.

Weathering on the gaiters and gloves. Re-laced the gaiters with OD paracord.

Made some greebs for the bandolier from PVC parts loosely following the tutorial, making my own decisions on some parts.

Gaiters and gloves look good.

Greeblies are coming along nicely.....
I used nail polish to gets that deep dark metallic on some parts of my Greeblie

You can get nice dark metallic ones in the sales bin

Getting super close now. Still got a few things I need to finalize. The cap brim is just a kids baseball hat brim I got from the dollar store. Will be making a proper one soon. Had fun at a small,photo shoot today. Got some good shots of my Vest variation.

You may want to shorten the straps on the pockets of the backpack, you can carefully open the metal V then re cut them so they are almost behind it..
Like below,

This way the greeblie will be more visible and pop out better

Also its a good idea to stuff that pocket with something square to give it a filled look.
I used green kitchen sponges for it so it feel like there is some kind of device in there between the greeblie and the black tube

I finished my bandoleer the other day and I will be taking my submittal photos soon.

For my softcap brim, I am just using a brim cut off of a kids ball cap. Are there any tutorials on making a more accurate brim? I haven't seen one yet either here or at the Endor Bunker.

UPDATE: Finally got my new, more accurate hat brim installed and weathered:

I made mne from the template that came in the Endor bunker.
It should be part of the template.....

But a good. Brim like that in the same color prollybworks as fine...
