|
|
|
Hello everyone! I'm making Slave Leia and during the process some question have raised.
The first question is about wig. I don't enough length of my hair to make Slave Leia hairstyle and to find hair pieces that suit fine my hair color is very hard so I decided to order a wig. Here it is:
The color is reddish brown. Will this wig be approved?
And the last question is about two metallic tear-drop shapes on straps in the front of the bikini top.
As I have ordered kit from Dragonfyre Designs these shapes are not included. So I need to buy them or to make them from polymer clay for example. In case of buying shapes can they not be smooth, with some print? |

The wig looks like it should be fine. Redbrown is a natural hair color. Medium to dark brown is merely the preferred color. _________________

And one more question. I think, the most important question. For so long have been looking for the boots with needed color and found these boots. Actually, it's not olive green. No opportunity to dye them (believe me, I have tried and failed)
Is there any chance to be approved with such color of the boots and bikini top? |

Unfortunately, that is way too bright a color of green. Leather does not take dye well at all, but what you can use is leather paints to change the color of your boots and bra suede. _________________

Maybe you need to take the boots back to a lighter white or cream color using a base coat, and then paint the olive green color over it.
Does anyone else have experience for what brands work best on suede Leia shoes? _________________

Maybe use either a brown or gray paint to change the color. That is too green. _________________ Dowager Queen Delegation Leader 2015-2017

Removing the toppers, how about soaking them in bleach to tone the green down, then dye them back? _________________ -Tom |

Bleach can damage the fabric. But there are products at craft stores to remove dyes. _________________ Dowager Queen Delegation Leader 2015-2017

If you can remove some of the color I'd put a light brown over it to get more of a green-brown color. _________________
