After seeing ShanJ's post about her costume plans for herself and her family for 2016, I thought it might be a cool idea to start up a thread for others to share their 2016 RL costume plans.

Mine are
- actually decide whether I'm doing a generic wookiee or face character (like Tarfful) and get really stuck into that bad boy.
- work on a Jedi Temple guard. There are a few people interested in doing this so am envisioning a bit of a group build project.
- Help my hubby get his first RL costume up. - He's thinking a Hoth Hanger Trooper - http://www.rebellegion.com/hoth-hanger-trooper-ep-v/
- Plus I know I want to make at least Rey's grey jacket from her last scene in TFA. I'm sure that will lead to making the whole thing too.

Anyone else willing to share?

Sair

I'd like to put together a new X-wing Pilot either a Poe or Snaps.

that may be second place to putting together a clone depending on funds.

and since I have the helmet I'll most likely build another Mandalorian kit

Hera. She was put in the back burner for a while last year while I was planning the Star Wars line so I'm hoping to get her finished up before London now. Also picked up the last pleather I needed for her at the LA fabric district before flying out last Sunday! Score!

I'd like to start my pre senate kimono Amidala. I still need to find the Obi fabric otherwise I need to embroider it but have all the other fabrics ready to start her. Will be a slow build though. I found something very close at the fabric district but not quite close enough for my liking.

New X Wing. I need one of these.

Snow Speeder Pilot. As soon as I make it to Melbourne this will be close to done. They are just holding my jacket hostage until we visit.

Bith. Need to finish that since it's close!

Hi Sair and everyone,
I am rather new to the Star Wars universe in terms of costuming but not new to costuming. I hope to work on a Jocasta Nu set. This will take me a long time as it will be sandwiched between working and university. But if anyone local has done this costume set I would like to meet up sometime and see it. I have quite a few ideas on how to draft and pattern it up but the method of choosing the embroidery has got me stumped.

Cheers

My costume plans are to finish my 3 billion (slight exaggeration) costume projects. If all that goes to plan, I will make a start on an EP7 costume

My costume list:

Kiffar Jedi 80%
Mando 80%
Tie reserve pilot 95%

Then after that I'll see. I'm hoping to get deadpool costume.

I'm also looking into doing a shistavanen jedi (possibly with my old jedi costume.)

For my first Rebel Legion costume I'm planning on the X-Wing pilot from TFA. I'm also working on a Mando for the Mercs (but who knows when that will be done. Also, I'm finishing up a Scout Trooper for the 501st as my second costume there.

Nice choices Sean. I would love a TFA pilot costume. I think they look fantastic. Maybe I'll have to add that to my list for 2016 as well Wink

We would love to see some photos when you have some progress too Very Happy

I have four daughters so it was great to have some more female characters in The Force Awakens.
I currently have requests in for Rey and Jess Pava, so am embarking on those. I'm already printing up Rey's staff, and am in research mode for the two costumes, it is going to be a lot of work, but it is a great way to get everyone in the family involved.

I know what you mean. I'm keen to get my eldest daughter into a Rey costume for our convention Supanova.

I'd love to see a wip for the staff.
