I'm looking for more detailed photos of Leia's dress in the scene where Rey and Chewie fly off. The only shot i could find anywhere is this one. Does anyone know where I can find one with more details? I really would like to do this one.

The hardest part is that it's only in the movie for a second and it's blowing in the wind. It's really pretty and I'm determined to find out more info!

I found that image floating around the internet. So far, nothing of the back. My suspicion is that it's just a solid back of the heavier fabric, given how it blew in the wind in the movie, but we can't be sure until we get good stills.

That neckline is what drew me to the dress. It looks simple enough. I think I may see what I can do with it.

I love this dress and I am going to try to make one too. These are the same two pics I have found, but we went and saw TFA again last night...I could not see a seam on the top of the shoulder at all. So maybe a fold-over tunic, fully lined to get the neckline?

I'm sure this has already been noticed, but it looks like the earrings Leia wears with this dress are extremely similar if not matched to the ceremonial necklace.

Hmm, they looked square with a wave in the center to me, but perhaps it was lighting? As if I needed an excuse for another rewatch!

Btw. I saw it again last night and I noticed only vertical seam lines, that is, a center front, a center back, and side seams. I spotted no horisontal seams, but not sure about the shoulders. It doesn't look like there is any seams though.
However, I noticed the ring has two blue stones with a navette shaped 'hole' between them. The rest is thick gold/golden thread. It has two threads going around the finger.

I've started looking at making a reference gallery and I have also made a sketch of Leia's ring.

I hope the sketch might be helpful to anyone making Leia's TFA costumes.

I only got a couple of references so far, but hopefully I'll be able to add to my tiny album.
