Raffled off a Hockey Jersey Raised $264.71 for the MAW of Eastern North Carolina after a signed team jersey raffle. The winner of the raffle turned out to be a special needs person who was granted a wish from MAW about three years ago and managed to survive his condition.

Just found a post on the Charlotte Checkers Hockey Game that was on January, 5th, 2015. $1,400 was raised for Make-a-Wish with the 501st Carolina Garrison.

May 7th, 2016 Durham Bulls Star Wars night

A great troop every year and this year it got bigger!

One of the highlights, we were able to get our Chewie back even if it was
just for a visit from Bespin Base.

Still don't know the indirect money raised for Autism Awareness but past years have averaged $17,000 to $22,000 dollars to charity auctioning off the Team's Star Wars night jerseys.

This year, the team paid tribute to Han Solo. So they were Han costume themed.

We didn't get to see too much of our Chewie and Leia because they were busy doing special promos throughout the game with Woolie Bull (team Mascot) which was also dressed up as Han Solo.
