Scottish Christmas Walk in Alexandria, VA (across the Potomac River from DC)

Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Once again Clan Ramsay is putting the call out to all Star Wars costumers. This will be the fourth year I have donned “Santa Vader” for the walk.

Last year we had an amazing turnout of costumers from the area, with another half-dozen “actual” Ramsay Clansmen in attendance.

One of the three founders of the City of Alexandria, was a Ramsay.

I would love to get even more this year… so the call is going out to everyone.

Arrive by 9am, ready to walk by 10am. Less than ¾ of a mile.

The Scottish Christmas Walk Parade
Starting at 11:00 AM
Enjoy more than 100 marching units filled with the magnificent tartans of Scottish Clans, the stirring sound of Scottish bagpipes and drums, Scottish dancers, re-enactment groups, Scottie dog groups, dignitaries, classic cars, Santa Claus, and much more. The 44th annual Scottish Christmas Walk Parade begins at St. Asaph and Wolfe Streets and concludes at Market Square.
