I want to finish this costume for the release on December the 16th. And I have confidence!

The first thing I finished were the pants:

After that I had a long struggle with the headwrap. But with some help I finally got there:

(goggles only as a stand in until my actual goggles are finished)

Next up was the body wrap:

And I have the screen accurate boots. They are so comfy

I also started with the goggles. First deciding on the shape with a paper pattern and then making them out of foam and fabric.

This weekend I am going to buy leather for the belt, the cuff and the backpack. I'll be making the belt and the cuff out of real leather for sure, but I am not sure about the backpack. Maybe that will be fake leather.

I have already finished the mock up for the backpack and the pouch.

A Garrison friend is making my staff.

Thank you so much!

I used pants from Forever 21, which I modified to this. The fabric is really nice but maybe a bit too textured. If I have time I might use these as a pattern get other fabric to remake them. (but for now I will keep them this way, still so many other things to do.)

But KwikSew - 3835 is a pattern which could be a good start. It is for fabrics with stretch, but I am sure you can make it work for non stretch fabrics with a few modifications.

How many yards of fabric did you need for the wrap dress and wraps? Was looking at getting a rayon/Silk blend for my wife but didnt know how many yards.

I used 3 meters for it and cut it 40 cm wide.
I'm 1.76 meters myself.

I'm sorry but I'm currently on my phone so I cannot easily switch to a converter to change it to yards.

This is for the basic wrap dress around her body.

I made the bracelet and I am super happy how it turned out.
The leather is still a bit stiff, but I am currently using some stuff to fix it, to make it less stiff Razz

Great job on the belt! The reference picture I've seen has the "tail" on the inside though. I'm trying to find a pic Smile

Oh that is interesting. I would love to see that picture.
(I love these costume discussions and finding out such details Very Happy )

The reason I put the 'tail' on the outside is because of this picture:

Puck I'm sorry I was 100% wrong. You have it exactly how it's supposed to be.

No problem at all! I mean, I could have easily interpreted the photo wrong. That is why I post here, to receive feedback and discussion about the costume Smile

There are still details unclear for this costume and I am fairly certain I do not have all the reference photos which are out there (I do try, but it is easy to miss some). So honestly, if you think I did something wrong for the costume, let me know! That is the only how how I can improve it.

Test fit! And I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. Of course it needs some tweaking, but in general I am happy with the fit and the look.

The tunic and arm wraps are still too white. Need some colour (yay for tea).
And of course it is way too clean. I cannot wait to weather this costume.

Puck,

I first want to say I am not a costume judge, but from my untrained eyes it looks great. Keep up the great work.
