Hello, all! I have a question about the slave Leia costume for y'all. How do you attach the skirts to the plates? I've heard of using snaps, but I'd be afraid that it wouldn't be secure enough... I look forward to hearing your imput! |

I used snaps and have never had an issue with them. I glued a piece of snap tape to the plates and then sewed the other piece of snap tape to the fabric after it was gathered to size. I think I have four or five snaps each for the front and back plates. |

Oh awesome! And for the bra, how do you attach that fabric? Do you glue it down? |

I glued mine. Just make sure whatever glue you use doesn't damage the frame. |

Snaps are more secure than Velcro. I did the same as Beth. Snap Tape on the plates and the skirt and voila! _________________ Dowager Queen Delegation Leader 2015-2017

Or did you find someone to make them for you? Cause I'd like to learn how to make my own. However, if someone has a great reference for someone who makes them I'd greatly appreciate that, too! |

The hard parts of the costume were sculpted by Jamin Fire from Leia's Metal Bikini. You can find some sculptors who make the hard parts on FB AND also on leiastrooper.com _________________ Dowager Queen Delegation Leader 2015-2017

Velcro or snaps are great choices just make sure that if you use velcro on your skirt plates, that you are using industrial strength. |
