Hello everyone! I'm a potential new member, just starting to work on a Padme arena battle costume. I am wondering if anyone has or knows of a tutorial for doing her hairstyle that doesn't use fake hair?

I've found several great ones for making a hairpiece, but I don't think that option will work for me, as my hair is slightly longer than hip length. My searching so far hasn't been able to turn up anything that shows how to do it, or anything even close to it, with the hair that's attached to your head. Smile

I appreciate any help you're able to give me!

Okay, I don't know if this will be helpful, but I, too, am a longhair. (Hip length).

When my hair was only mid back and I was much younger my older sister one did a hairdo on me pretty similar of Padmé's battle hairdo. In it she first tied my hair up into a high ponytail. Then she took a small part of my hair and twisted it and attached it around the hairtie in loops. Back then she probably made three loops with each twisted part. The hairdo involved A LOT of bobby pins/hair pins and A LOT of time. Took her about 1½ hour to do it on me.

I'm sure there's faster ways to do it, but I've never experimented with doing it myself. Maybe used some of those long thin curlers that you can twist?
