After I wear my flak vest for a short period of time the tubes start to work themselves out of the ribs. Have any of you run into this problem? How did you solve it? Thanks!!
Here's what I mean, just after a short parade:

It's what they do. I just tuck mine back in over and over. _________________ Steve Vitale (loosetoon, TB-2719, Strike 2)

If you have a little scrap of the flak vest material, try dotting a little bit of E-6000 onto it and see if it shows through after it dries. If it doesn't, you might be able to dot a little bit of the E-6000 onto the ends of the hoses (perhaps on the backside of them that faces you) and glue them down onto the material. Don't know if it'll work but it might. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

If your tubing isn't too tough, you can sew them in place. Thread a needle with white thread, stab upward through the bottom tube and run it through each tube. When you get to the top, pull it taut and tie it off. |

Thanks for the good ideas! I'm going to try sewing them into place first, and if that doesn't work then I'll go with the E-6000 _________________ Morgan

That's the main reason why you always fly with a wingman. You do their pre-flight tube check, they do yours! _________________ Jon Paulson • Cmdr. Tag "HazardThree" Greenly
