hello everyone,

I started with the green velvet gown for padme but I can't find the right fabric for the lining of the sleeves... anyone any suggestions?

It may be really hard to obtain (the shade, the print, scale of print and so on...). I think the best way is to order a custom print. Also, I recall someone here has already tried the custom print of this one.

Also, I sometimes find interesting fabrics in upholstery/courtain sections. May be worth to take a look every now and then. The truth is, collecting materials for Padme dresses may take a year or even more.

And remember, always ask for a swatch/order it before you spend money on fabric that looks good on photos and makes you think it may work Wink

I know this was done through spoonflower some years back. Maybe check to see if they still have that print there?

Screen print really is your best option with this one.

Thanks for the advice. Spoonflower has the print but only in gold and white so I am asking if she also has this print with the right colors.

I would recommend the "Silky Faille" to have that pattern printed on. The satin is too shiny and flimsy.
