Yay, Willrow! Fun costume. And as an approved X-Wing Pilot, I'm an ice cream maker and wig/mustache away from approval!

I picked up a Hamilton Beach ICM on a scorching sale at Amazon.

A fellow Willrow was kind enough to link me to a wig and mustache on Amazon at a super reasonable price, and I'm good to go!

I did pause long enough to remove the "Hamilton Beach" writing from the motor housing. Wink

I got out my camera equipment, spent the time to set up the lighting, the backdrop, everything... took some sweet submission photos, and sent them in! Woohoo! And now the waiting begins...

Say, while I'm waiting, I should prowl around this fine subforum I discovered just before submitting, with all the great Willrow info!

And look, a Standards thread! I didn't know we had one for Willrow!

http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=80144

Aaaaand... *shriek*. Oops. Huh. For some reason I didn't think Willrow had code cylinders or the compad... so of course I left them off when I took my photos.

No worries! I'll just take some more pics, since fortunately I had not yet spent the hour and a half needed to tear down and pack away the backdrop and lighting setup! Sweet!

All packed up, and ready. I'll have updated photos when the judges contact me to say "Ahem, I think you have have forgotten a couple of pieces and we will need some new photos..." and I'll be all "HA! I GOT YOU, BOO!" *click* *send* *high-fives self*

Oh. Hey. Lookit that. The memory chip is in the computer, not the camera which had been on the tripod in front of the backdrop. Before I packed it all up and put it all away. Like, when I shot those last replacement pics. Which went... nowhere.

*sigh*

So, how's your evening going?

Fortunately my omissions weren't visible in my Action photo, so that's one I didn't need to re-take.

APPROVED! WOOHOO!
