no. I measured the bubble strip on the force-FX just now and it is 10mm x 50mm;
from the website, the blastech part is 15.25mm x 50mm.
this is most likely because the clamp on the force-FX is a facade and the bubble strip acts as a switch -- it needs to slide back and forth with respect to the clamp.
on the 'real' graflex, the bubble strip extends sideways into the clamp. so it needs to be wider. _________________

"real" clamp showing width of the part in question,
which extends sideways under the 'overhang/lip' of the clamp;
(the metal wraps around the part, and holds it in place, so it can't slide back and forth).
width of part = 15.25mm
"force-FX" version, showing width of bubble strip;
the 'overhang/lip' doesn't exist on either side -- replaced by a block of plastic, on either side of a much narrower bubble strip;
(bubble strip slides back and forth in the channel formed by these 2 blocks of plastic, to act as the on/off switch).
width of bubble strip = 10 mm

for Luke ESB, I applied with a force-FX ESB saber (NON-removeable blade).
I wear the "ANH" version on my belt, c/w bubble strip -- I didn't change it into ESB version
(the belt hanger is a broken FX with all the guts removed) _________________

Would you be willing to sell or trade for one of your Luke Skywalker sabers? |
