That has been my question as well, and oneof the reasons I have held off on persuing this.

Here is what I'm using:

http://www.awawork.com/ct10sg.html

They have a good weight, and I've used them for X-Wing Pilot and Imperial Crew flightsuits. No plethora of zippers or tabs. Just four pockets and one thigh pocket to carefully remove.

I buy one extra in the color I need, to harvest material for the new pockets to sew on.

That's the same Redkap coveralls we used. They fit nice, and the material is good and rugged.

To be honest though, after getting "the Book" (Original Trilogy Costumes), it confirmed my thoughts after seeing all the screen shots from RotJ: the Redkap coveralls are too dark and blueish. Down the line, I want to work on replacing our squadron's suits with something better, in a more medium green. There are certain other nitpicky details about the construction that are wrong too, if one is worried about that (should be a separate yoke piece, no shoulder gussets on the back, etc.)

Do you have any pictures of what these look like in real life?

I also have RedKap ones and really like them. I also wear RedKap pants at work and think they hold up well color-wise after washing many, many times.
