Awesome! Thanks for posting those!

I knew the chest box shell was a simple shape with greeblies added but just couldn't see most of them in detail.
I'll be working on masters and molds for a kit as soon as I have some time to.

Check out the stitching on the legs above the gaiters. I wonder what that is? It doesn't look like pockets, they're too flat and it doesn't look like there's an opening, and it's not a seam because it looks like it's almost a square shape. They don't go up high enough to be reinforced knees like on the Rebels AT-DP driver...

I'll have the book in my hands in two days. Smile

I find it interesting also that as the production of the movies went on, they decided to use the very flexible type of hoses for the newer costumes. Must have been tired of dealing with the heavy/inflexible stuff with all the extras.

The bottom two pockets look like false pockets. i.e. they were sewn on but just sewn up all the way round with no flaps.

It is great to finally have a source of perfect references for these costumes. Only got to add to greebles to my chest box.

The first good pic of the Y-Wing vest too. I can get some better greeblies on my vest.

wow....what awesome photos!!!!

much better than we have seen in the past.

I have always felt that the pockets on the legs were false pockets. When i make X wing suits I make the bottom pockets false, just doubled over fabric to look like a flap but not take up room in the boot.

Speaking of chest boxes, check this thread out here ... http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=729445#729445

These builds were based on pics taken by a Hazard in the LFL Archive before the book came out. Sunrider has been working on them for a bit now and they're almost ready!

That's because they're great builds. (And also because I couldn't figure out how to move the threads around, so I had to go to each section and point to the one thread. So, I'm not a techie, sue me. Embarassed Laughing )

Brilliant pics...i started to CAD the greeblies up for 3d printing...we'll See how they will turn out...to be honest, the pictures throw me back quite a bit, but i think it is worth redoing the box Wink

Just when our base got our A-wing pilots going...... Haha

Well, we've decided on sticking with what we have for the moment, start introducing improvements slowly, probably starting with the chest box. Which, I'm loving Sunrider's A and B-wing builds on those! Some tweaking and BAM

Right off the bat, I noticed that the vest "bib" (white part) doesn't seem to have any of the tubing ribs that we've been putting on them... Just a quilted stitch of parallel lines, with what looks like thin batting behind it to puff it up.

There's that big round greeblie you were talking about, Blue Banshee!

I'm already wanting to throw away the converted Redkap coveralls.... They should be much more of that medium green. But hey, one thing at a time Smile
