I was supposed to get some Leia hair with my costume from Etsy, but they were not in the box. God knows what happened, I am chasing it up with my post office. Hugely disapointed as you can imagine
Anyway, Does anyone else know of other shops that sell them ? or where could I buy the buns or wig ? I am nto very good at making them myself
Thanks |

Depending on how long your natural hair is, you may be able to wrap extensions in with your own pigtails, and twist it all into the buns together. One of these matching your hair for each pigtail is enough to make the fullness you need for two buns. But it does require twisting and pinning in every time you wear them. You'd need hair that was at least shoulder length or longer to pull off that technique though.
With shorter hair, you'd need some kind of wig or insta-bun, and I know there are some quality suppliers out there, though I do not have experience buying from them myself. _________________

I use two packs of jumbo braid. I have long hair already, but I just pigtail it, braid it and pack it up into tight buns to make a base for fake buns. I take one package each of the jumbo braid (Which is less than three dollars each at Salllys), rubber band each end, then start rolling it up tightly into a saucer shape while twisting the hair and pinning into place. Then spray the whole thing down on both sides with tons of hair spray, and let dry, then pin into place around your tight buns. I usually get two uses out of them, at three bucks each, it's not worth it for me to wash them out and redo them when they start getting pulled out of place or undone when I take them off. _________________
