Put everything on for the first time (except the belt....belt kit should be arriving in the next two weeks). Did some walking around in it to see what issues there were. Indeed, the shoulders and knees went out of whack, so need to get a bit more Velcro and padding on those. I have puny upper arms, so need more padding there (I couldn't cut down the armor any more without losing the outline of the piece)

Otherwise, able to move around without much trouble...was a real rush just seeing myself in the armor...

Very nice.

The arms can be tricky. If pieces aren't staying where they need to be a bit of foam can help them stay in place.

What kind of belt are you using, a KW?

Thanks!

I put some foam in them...will see if that improves things.

I did use the KW straps for the arms. Seemed a bit short, but then I realized I hadn't padded the shoulder bells yet. Will see if that helps. One of the Clones over at the 501st says that a better method is to hold the bells on with two straps, making a "V" shape, rather than the one single strap. May try that as well.

As for the belt, I have the integrated one that came with the armor (KWs), but decided to order a belt kit from one of the 501st guys. Its one order...hope to have it here in the next two weeks.

Very best of luck with it. Did you get the sides of the chest to fit how you wanted?

Seem to be ok. I think the issue is more the difficulty in putting it on without assistance. Without help, its very hard to get it dead on in terms of lining up the sides of the chest perfectly. With help, its much easier.

The good news is that overall its comfortable once I am in it - the suit feels good once its on - not noticing any pinching or similar issues. The pain more comes when I am trying to put everything on. I really can't do it without help, especially the lower leg and shoes.

Can one sit down in Clone Armor? I haven't tried it yet for fear of breaking the rear of the cod...

Excellent. I have an overlap plate and magnets and a metal strip so that the chest lines up for me.

As to the other, I cannot sit properly, I can wear the leg armour but I don't want to think what would happen to the cod/posterior if I sat down. This isn't to saw other cannot, just me.

Everyone on the forum is just incredible in terms of providing help! Very much appreciated!

For the chest, I just have large Velcro patches (the heavy duty industrial stuff). I may look into some alternatives. I do have some magnets...in fact, I was going to see about using them to try to keep the knees from rotating...

Very nice, I'd thought about some magnets in the knees too to help keep them straight.

I like the neodymium one's in the chest because I can adjust them but they hold tight, velcro can e tricky at times.

Main thin is it works and you're comfortable, the rest is hidden so if you can make it work, all good. he

What do you use to attach the magnets? I tried super glue, but the magnets tended to come off.

Thanks! Will have to give that a try...

My experiences with magnets and glue usually so far have ended up a slapstick-y (in both senses of the term) mess.

I also have tried to mark the magnets so I know which pole is on which side...

For sure, make sure they'll play nice and not just stick to each other. Some good strong clamps with a non-slip grip are very helpful too.

I put several 3/4 in diameter ones along the one side and a thin steel plate on the other. I allows some adjustablity and worked well do far.

Ok....belt kit arrived. The boxes are a bit larger than the kit that came with the armor, so they tend to bend out a bit. Trying to trim them down to keep them from bending so much...

Got the compad on!
